A
native of California, Catharine Grow grew
up in Encinitas where she began her training at the age
of seven at Janice Lee's School of Ballet.
She began her professional career in
1995 with the Milwaukee Ballet Company. In 1996,Catharine
joined Ballet San Jose. Since then she has
performed such roles as Maria in Dennis Nahat's The
Nutcracker, Long Tall Sally in Blue
Suede Shoes, soloist roles in Who
Cares?, Theme and Variations, Celebrations and Ode, Agnes de Mille's Rodeo, Le Sylphide, Dennis Nahat's Giselle, Swan Lake and Twyla Tharp's Baker's Dozen.
Catharine has also performed in several different cities
throughout Italy, France, and Germany with her husband,
fellow dancer, Zuri
Goldman. Other credits include "Tango Dancer" in the movie RENT.
Catharine became a Gyrotronic® trainer in 2004. She enjoys training her clients in her spare time, and most recently became certified inGyrokinesis®. Catharine also has been very fortunate to have worked with several amazing photographers over the years who include Randi Lynn Bench and Jack Hutcheson.
